Okotoks Senior C Lacrosse Team! In an effort to form an Okotoks Senior C Lacrosse team, there will be a meeting on Monday, June 7th, at the Okotoks Centennial Arena (upstairs) at 8:00 pm.  Players must be 22 yrs old and up.  Following the meeting, there will be 1 1/2 hrs. floortime from 9:00 to 10:30 pm (full equipment). The season would run June, July and until August 15th.  We are able to book floortime Mondays from 9:00 to 10:30 pm at the Centennial.  Other possible teams for this season are Calgary, Lethbridge and Fort Saskatchewan.  Games would most likely be played on weekends. The Registration Fee would be about $200 to cover floortime, referees and jerseys. The Alcan Cup is a National Invitational Senior C tournament.  This year it is being held August 26, 27 and 28 in Prince George.  This is a possible tournament for an Okotoks team if they wished to enter. We are looking for 15 - 20 committed players in order to make the team feasible.  Come on out to the meeting and spread the word to any friends, etc. that might be interested. We will be accepting registrations at the meeting along with the fee.  Please let me know ASAP whether you are interested in playing on this team.
